Wilson Ezquerra
Wilson Ezquerra Martinotti (born May 14, 1958 in Tacuarembó ) is a Uruguayan politician , university professor, football official and entrepreneur.

Ezquerra was born in the northern Uruguayan city of Tacuarembó as the son of Ernesto Ezquerras and Celeste Martinottis . He is married to Lucía López and has three children, Soledad , Victoria and Pío Santiago , as well as a deceased fourth child.
education
After spending a year at a public school, his educational path led through the Colegio Católico Siervas de Jesús Sacramentado , the Colegio San Javier de la congregación Jesuita to the Liceo Nr. 1 Departamental de Tacuarembó "Ildefonso Pablo Estevez" . In the last two years of secondary school he completed a parallel training in mechanics and electricity at the Universidad del Trabajo del Uruguay, UTU , from which he completed a post- graduate degree in mechanics. Professionally, he then worked at UTE in the Palmar hydropower plant .
Political career
Between the ages of 14 and 15, he took his first steps in the political arena for the Movimiento Nacional de Rocha in his hometown. Later the Partido Nacional Ezquerra was Secretary General in the Intendencia Municipal of Tacuarembó from 1995 to 1999 under Intendente Eber Da Rosa Vázquez . In addition, he was elected as Edil in the Junta Departamental , where he was chairman. He also temporarily took over the presidency of the Congreso Nacional de Ediles . After July 31, 2004 to February 7, 2005 the predecessor Eber Da Rosa Vázquez had been temporarily replaced, he was since 7 July 2005 to 2009 Intendente of the Department Tacuarembó after he made the previous local elections of 8 May 2005 as Winner emerged. In the local elections on May 9, 2010 , he was confirmed in office for a second term.

Ezquerra previously worked as a manager of the Tacuarembó Fútbol Club , which he founded , and held a position in the Asociación de Fútbol de Tacuarembó , the departmental football association.
