Wim Fissette

Wim Fissette (born March 22, 1980 ) is a former Belgian tennis player and current tennis coach.

As a player, he reached 1291 in the world rankings as the highest place in August 1999.

From 2009 to 2011 he was Kim Clijsters' coach . It led her to win the US Open twice , the Australian Open and the WTA Tour Championships . In 2013 he trained Sabine Lisicki , in 2014 Simona Halep , from 2015 to 2016 and from November 2018 Wiktoryja Asaranka , 2016 Sara Errani , and from 2016 to 2017 Johanna Konta . From November 2017 to October 16, 2018 he was Angelique Kerber's trainer . He has been training Naomi Osaka since the 2020 season .

Fissette is married and has one son.
