Windhausen is a district of Markt Aislingen in the Swabian district of Dillingen an der Donau . Windhausen, which came to the municipality of Aislingen as a district of Baumgarten on May 1, 1978, is located 500 meters northeast of Baumgarten on both sides of the Lohgraben.
history
The place is first handed down in 1140 in a deed of gift as "Windehusen". Windhausen was probably created as an extension of Aislingen. Possession in Windhausen was very fragmented, so that in the late 15th century on the basic rule of the monasteries Echenbrunn and Fultenbach , the churches in Aislingen and Waldkirch as well as the rule Baumgarten possessed shares. In the 18th century Windhausen belonged to the Glött rulership and came with it to Bavaria in 1806 .
