The Bütow / Zepkow wind farm is a collection of wind turbines for the generation of electricity by using wind energy .

location

The wind farm is located in the areas of the municipalities of Bütow and Eldetal (district of Zepkow ) in the Mecklenburg Lake District in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the immediate vicinity of the Federal Highway 19 .

The wind farm consists of 32 DeWind D4 wind turbines and was built in two sections in 1999 and 2001 by the company Enertrag . The 22 plants originally built in the first expansion stage produced an annual yield of 24.1 million kWh with a total output of 13.2 MW. After the wind park was expanded by 10 systems in 2001, an annual yield of 35.2 million kWh per year was calculated. The total installed output of the wind farm is 19.2 MW.

The wind turbines are of the type D4 from the manufacturer DeWind from Lübeck . The DeWind D4 wind turbines have a nominal output of 600 kilowatts, a rotor diameter of 48 m and were built in the Bütow / Zepkow wind farm with a hub height of 70 m.

In the regional spatial development program Mecklenburgische Seenplatte in the area of "wind energy" a significant expansion of the wind suitability area Bütow / Zepkow is planned, especially to the east in the direction of Wildkuhl, so that the area suitable for wind farms will more than double.

In 2016, Enercon put 8 E-101 wind turbines into operation in the west of the area . They have a rotor diameter of 101 m and a hub height of 149 m.

In 2019, 2 more E-101s were added
