Winklsaß is a district of the municipality of Neufahrn in Niederbayern in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . Until 1978 it formed an independent municipality.

history

The place Winklsaß became particularly through a break ore deposit from the early Hallstatt period around 1000 BC. Known. At the beginning of July 1911, a worker recovered the 13.5 kilogram bronze treasure during clearing work, which among other things contained remains of greaves.
