The Winterthur Warriors are an American football club from Winterthur. The club plays its home games in the Deutweg stadium .
history
The club was founded in 1987 by Tom Agoston. The Warriors play in the top Swiss league, the National League A . On July 16, 2006, the club celebrated its greatest success to date by winning the Swiss championship. In 2010 the Warriors were relegated to National League B, but achieved a direct resurgence with a second place the following year.
