Vital Zwetau (born January 28, 1988 ) is a Belarusian biathlete .

Zwetau took part in the first international races as part of the IBU Junior Cup in 2008. The first major event was the 2008 Junior World Championships in Ruhpolding , where he finished 25th in the singles. In the summer of the year he started the junior competitions on roller skis at the 2008 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Haute-Maurienne . In the sprint he reached the 12th place, in the pursuit eleventh place and won the bronze medal with the Belarusian mixed relay. In 2009 Zwetau started again at the Junior World Championships in Canmore and was 25th in the individual, eighth in the sprint, and 21st in the pursuit in Canada. With Sergei Rutsewitsch, Uladsimir Tschapelin and Wladimir Alenischko he won bronze again in the relay competition. For the third time within six months the Belarusian won the bronze medal with the relay in Ufa at the Junior European Championships in the World Cup line-up. He was also seventh in the individual, sixth in the sprint and tenth in the pursuit. At the start of the 2009/10 season in the IBU Cup , Zwetau made his debut in Idre in this racing series and finished 44th in a sprint race. He won his first points as 33rd of an individual in Ridnaun . In 2010 he made his debut in the biathlon world cup in Antholz . After first finishing 60th in the individual, he reached the pursuit race as 43rd of the sprint, in which he won World Cup points for the first time as 36th.
