Vitaly Alexandrowitsch Kabardin ( Russian Виталий Александрович Кабардин ; born August 28, 1982 in Saratow , then Soviet Union ) is a Russian summer biathlete specializing in cross-country skiing .

Vitali Kabardin won the bronze medal in sprint races at the 2006 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Cēsis behind Alexei Kowjasin and Anatoli Karpov . The following year , the Russian took part in the Summer Biathlon World Championships in Otepää and finished 12th in the sprint and 14th in the pursuit. With a victory in the cross over 4 kilometers at the Russian championships in July 2010, he qualified for the 2010 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Osrblie . Kabardin finished the races there in fifteenth in the sprint and twelve in the pursuit.
