Witiko VI. from Rosenberg

Witiko VI. von Rosenberg (Czech Vítek VI. z Rožmberka ; † September 22, 1277 ) was a Bohemian nobleman. He came from the Witigon family branch of the Rosenbergs .

Life

Witiko's parents were the Colonel Marshal of Bohemia and Governor of Styria Wok von Rosenberg and Hedwig von Schaunberg . His older brother was the later Chamberlain of Bohemia, Heinrich I. von Rosenberg . Like him, Witiko probably also lived at Rosenberg Castle . It is not known how old Witiko was when he died in 1277. He was probably not married and was probably buried in the family crypt in the Hohenfurth monastery church.
