The Witscha Glacier ( Bulgarian ледник Вича lednik Witscha ) is a 27 km long and 6 km wide glacier in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . On the east side of the Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains, it flows northeast of the Newcomer Glacier and southwest of the Jamen Glacier in a southerly direction along the eastern slopes of Mount Ulmer and Mount Ojakangas , and then at Mount Washburn in a southeastern direction east of Mount Cornwell and Mount Warren and turn southwest of Branishte Peak to the Rutford Ice Stream , which it reaches south of the Foros Spur .
American scientists mapped it in 1961. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 after the medieval fortress Witscha in northeastern Bulgaria .
