Mount Ojakangas is a 2450 m high mountain of elongated shape in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 3 km northwest of Mount Washburn in the northern part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1982 after the American geologist Richard Wayne Ojakangas from the University of Minnesota in Duluth , participant in the expedition of the United States Antarctic Research Program in the Ellsworth Mountains (1979-1980).
