Vladimir Dmitrievich Kuznetsov
Vladimir Dmitrijewitsch Kuznetsov ( Russian Владимир Дмитриевич Кузнецов , English transcription Vladimir Kuznetsov ; born April 2, 1931 in Leningrad ; † August 29, 1986 ) was a Soviet javelin thrower .
At the European Athletics Championships in 1954 in Bern, he won the silver medal, and at the 1958 European Championships he was sixth.
At the Olympic Games he was sixth in Helsinki in 1952 , twelfth in Melbourne in 1956 and eighth in Tokyo in 1964 .
In 1961 he became a Soviet champion.
