Wladimir Grigorjewitsch Jermolajew ( Russian Владимир Григорьевич Ермолаев , scientific transliteration Vladimir Grigor'evič Ermolaev ; born August 22, 1909 , † December 31, 1944 ) was a Soviet aircraft designer.

Yermolajew graduated from Moscow's Lomonosov University in 1931 and worked as an engineer on the construction of the Bartini Stal-7 (Сталь-7). After Robert L. Bartini's imprisonment , he took over his design office ( OKB ) in 1939 , the main development of which was the Yermolajew Jer-2 , a twin-engine long-range bomber, based on the Stal-7 .

Yermolayev died of typhus on December 31, 1944 .
