Vladimir Iwanowitsch Wolkonski ( Russian Владимир Иванович Волконский , * 1640 ; † 1694 ) was a Russian prince , large landowner and from 1676 to 1694 court master at the Russian tsarist court.

Life

WI Volkonsky was employed as a court official at the court of the Russian tsar from 1676 . From 1686 to 1692 he was court master and from 1691 also quartermaster and travel master. He served the Tsarina Evdokia Lukianovna Streschnewa (1608-1645) and her son, the later Tsar Alexei I (1629-1679).

Origin and family

Knes Vladimir Ivanovich Volkonsky came from the Rurikids family and was one of the Volkonsky princes . His father was the Russian voivode Ivan Fjodorowitsch Volkonsky (around 1600–1641), Vladimir was the youngest son of seven sons and married to Tatiana Nikiforovna Vyurovskaja. In the male successor was Dmitri Wladimirowitsch Volkonsky (1660-1704). Both Dmitri Petrovich Volkonsky (1764-1810) and Pyotr Michailowitsch Volkonsky (1776-1852), the later founder of the Baltic line, come from this line.

Possessions

Through inheritances , gifts , acquisitions and acquisitions, the Wolkonskis acquired large land holdings and advanced to become large landowners. In 1655 the family received smaller settlements, camps and villages in the Kostroma governorate . Vladimir Ivanovich bequeathed these possessions to his son Dmitri and in 1709 to his son Alexander Dmitriwitsch. In 1751 the goods were sold. In 1657 Vladimir Ivanovich inherited the Podlipnaja settlement in Yaroslavl Oblast and the Suzdal village in the Vladimir governorate from his wife Tatiana . Vladimir gave his daughter Avdotja the possessions in Suzdal as a dowry. In 1677 the family acquired the Kanishchevo estate in Ryazan Oblast and in 1695 they took possession of the villages of Sobolewo and Klin. Finally, it was enfeoffed with the villages of Ostrouchowo, Terechowskoje and Pojarkowo all in Ryazan Oblast.
