Wladimir Leonidowitsch Vwedenski ( Russian Владимир Леонидович Введенский , born December 19, 1956 in Salekhard , Soviet Union ; † November 27, 2016 in the Tyumen Oblast ) was a Soviet biathlete and biathlon trainer.

Vladimir Vvedensky grew up in Berjosowo (Khanty and Mansi Autonomous Okrug) and was a cross-country skier at the beginning of his sports career . He later switched to biathlon and started for "Dinamo" in Tyumen . He was a member of the Soviet national team from 1977 onwards. As a biathlete, he was particularly strong in running. He achieved his first success with the relay victory at the Spartakiad 1978. In the first year of the Biathlon World Cup ( 1977/78 season ) he took second place with the Soviet Union I relay ( Tolkachev , Jelisarow , Tichonow , Vvedensky) in Murmansk , the 10th km sprint he finished fifth. In the following year he was in Antholz in the victorious season of the Soviet Union. At the national level, Vvedensky was two-time Soviet champion in the relay (1978, 1980) and in the patrol run . He was the first international master of sport in biathlon in the Tyumen region .

Vvedensky completed his professional education at the University of Industry Tyumen ( Тюменский индустриальный университет ). After his sports career he worked as a biathlon trainer and was a referee and technical delegate at biathlon competitions for the Tyumen region. Shortly before his 60th birthday, he died after a long illness.
