Wolf Friedrich von Möllendorff

Wolf Friedrich von Möllendorff (born December 1, 1682 ; died July 2, 1737 in Reinsdorf , Amt Delitzsch , Electorate of Saxony ) was a royal Polish and electoral Saxon chamberlain and manor owner . He was heir, feudal and court lord of Reinsdorf, Lohnsdorf and Teuditz.

Life

He came from the old noble family von Möllendorff from the Altmark and struck an administrative career in the service of the Wettiner at the court of Dresden , where he became chamberlain. In addition, he acquired several manors north of the trade fair city of Leipzig in the electoral office of Delitzsch, where he was heir, feudal lord and court lord. He chose Reinsdorf Castle as his place of residence. His relative, the royal Prussian lieutenant colonel of the cavalry, Friedrich August von Möllendorff, also appointed him as his co-lean on the Quetz manor near Zörbig .

After his death, his body was quietly buried on July 5, 1737 in the church in Gollma .

He was married to Johanna Charlotta Amalia von Ponickau. From this marriage the son Johann August von Möllendorff, born on November 12th, 1713, was born, who was baptized in Reinsdorf on November 15th, 1713. Their second son was born on December 17th, 1717 and baptized on the 20th in Reinsdorf with the name Johann Wolf Magnus von Möllendorff. The third son was born on July 13, 1720. He was baptized four days later in the name of Johann Eberhardt von Möllendorff and later embarked on a military career.
