Wolfgang Effenberger

Wolfgang Effenberger (* 1946 in Lohne ) is a former time officer of the Bundeswehr , retired teacher, political scientist and non-fiction author .

Career

At the age of 18, Effenberger signed up for twelve years as a regular soldier in the German Armed Forces and resigned as an officer in the pioneer troop in 1976 . There he also gained knowledge of the plans for " Atomic Battlefield Europe" at the time. Official contacts with the 7th US Engineer Brigade in Kornwestheim , where officers were still threatened with being assigned to the Vietnam War, aroused his interest in geopolitical issues.

After leaving the armed forces, he studied political science , construction and mathematics for a higher teaching post . Effenberger was then called up as a mobilization reserve for regular military exercises, the last time in September 1989 as a military training division pioneer leader in the large-scale exercise "Open Visor".

He lives as a freelance author near Munich .

Positions

In October 2016, Effenberger appeared in Augsburg at a congress organized by Kopp Verlag on the subject of geopolitics . In his presentation, Effenberger said that the United States was behind the founding of NATO and the EU . They strived for world domination , while Saudi Arabia had set itself the Islamization of Europe as its goal. It is no coincidence that since the beginning of the refugee crisis in Europe from 2015 onwards, no attempt has been made to establish peace with Head of State Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian civil war . Effenberger gave the laudatory speech at the 2019 Bautzen Peace Prize award ceremony for Willy Wimmer .
