Wolfgang Eissler
Wolfgang Eißler (* 1971 in Bretten ) is a German director and screenwriter .
Life
Eißler's first significant directorial work was in Berlin by the sea in 2008 . Most recently, his fairy tale films Die Kluge Bauerntaschen (2009) and Die Danzten Shoes (2011) were each nominated for a Grimme Special Prize. In addition, Wolfgang Eißler is the recipient of the Robert Geisendörfer Prize , which he received in 2011 for directing Die Kluge Bauerndaughter in the Children's Television Prize category.
