Wolfgang Enders

Wolfgang Rudi Enders (* 20th January 1951 in Zwickau , † 4. March 2017 ) was a German CDU - politician and member of the Saxon Parliament .

Life and work

Wolfgang Enders attended school in Steinpleis in the Werdau district (today the Zwickauer Land district ) up to grade 10 . This was followed by an apprenticeship as a radio and television mechanic. In 1978/80 he completed his master's degree and was then workshop master at GHG-Technik Zwickau . In 1988 he took over an independent craft business in Steinpleis.

He was Evangelical Lutheran, divorced and had one child.

politics

Wolfgang Enders had been a member of the CDU since 1972 and was a member of the Steinpleis municipal council for his party from 1974 to 1979. From 1979 to 1989 he took on the role of chairman of the arbitration commission in Steinpleis.

He was elected to the Saxon state parliament for the CDU Saxony in 1990 for the first time through the Werdau constituency (1994 through the Zwickauer Land 2 constituency ). In the state election in 1990 he was able to prevail against his fellow candidates with 55.0% and in the state election in 1994 with 61.2%. Enders did not run for the 1999 state election . In the state parliament he was, among other things, a member of the interior committee and the investigative committee for the workability of the Saxon state parliament .
