Life

He broke off his studies in social sciences . He was editor of the magazines "Gummibaum" and "Nonsenf", worked on various anthologies and received several literary and sponsorship awards. In the 1980s, Fienhold invited authors to a regulars' table in the Frankfurter Romanfabrik . In 2007 he fell ill with cancer, of which he died in February 2011.

Work and effect

The 1983 film Die Flambierte Frau by director Robert van Ackeren is based on the novel by Fienhold. "His rampant imagination, his satirical works with often very biting comments on current topics and his brilliant parodies have found their own fan base in Germany." Hans Otfried Dittmer was one of the first to appreciate Fienhold in this regard . When he was able to bring together a number of people who were prominent in the alternative scene at the time, such as Hadayatullah Hübsch and Volker Zotz , and win them over for his publishing edition Dittmer , Fienhold also belonged to his group of authors. Hadayatullah Hübsch judged the lyric poet Fienhold that he was "able to condense a state of the heart with flaring clarity."
