Hans Otfried Dittmer

Hans Otfried Dittmer (born August 22, 1952 in Kassel ; † April 5, 2018 ) was a German writer , publisher and naturopath . He also published under the pseudonym Hans O. Hermann.

biography

Hans Otfried Dittmer was born as the son of the theologian and writer Hans Dittmer . After graduating from the humanistic Friedrichsgymnasium in Kassel, he studied Protestant theology like his father, first in Germany, then in the USA, where he finished his studies. After completing his studies, he did his doctorate and soon after completed training as a naturopath. Since the 1970s he has appeared as a publisher, author and therapist. Dittmer was married and lived in Gottstreu (municipality of Oberweser ).

Writing work

Dittmer, who as a poet and prose author mostly used his pseudonym Hans O. Hermann, published numerous lyrical works in the mid to late 1970s. In his cynical volume Ich bin im Bild in 1978 he satirized the style of the Bild newspaper by observing and analyzing its headlines over a period of time and making them absurd and cynical by assembling the word elements. In the story Litortur , Dittmer uses a satirical and ironic way of reproducing his experiences as a literary publisher in the alternative scene. Since the 1980s, Dittmer turned increasingly to topics in the field of radionics and published numerous books and articles on various topics in alternative medicine .

Activity as a publisher

In 1977, Hans Otfried Dittmer and his wife Anneliese Dittmer founded an edition for which he was able to win over many prominent figures in the counterculture of the 1970s. Dittmer brought out books by Hadayatullah Hübsch , Volker Zotz , Ingo Cesaro and Wolfgang Graf von Lüttichau among others in his publishing house. The literary program of the Dittmer publishing house was taken over in 1980 by Gauke Verlag . After that, Dittmers Edition mainly published texts from the field of complementary medicine.

Activity as program developer

As part of his alternative medicine work, Dittmer began to publish computer practice programs from the mid-1980s (complex homeopathy, Harnschau according to Hildegard von Bingen, etc.). In the mid-1990s, Dittmer published the first so-called "virtual devices" which, together with a computer and as little hardware as possible, "formed" a therapy device. The best known are the CodeCoder and the Radiopath from the fields of radionics , homeopathy and bioresonance therapy .

D method

In the 1980s, Dittmer developed the D-Method , a diagnostic electronic acupoint measurement method.
