Wolfgang Grünbauer

Wolfgang Grünbauer (born August 19, 1965 in Munich ) is a German musician and conductor. He directs the "Munich Oktoberfest Musicians", the Wolfgang Grünbauer wind orchestra , the "Haberstroh Muskanten" and the "Brass Soloists". He has been running his own music publishing house since 1994 and has composed and arranged over 300 works.

Life

From 1985 to 1989 Grünbauer studied at the Robert Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf (majoring in tuba ) and then played in the Air Force Music Corps 1 of the Bundeswehr in Munich. This was followed by postgraduate studies at the Munich University of Music as a certified music teacher and at the Leopold Mozart Conservatory in Augsburg as a wind orchestra conductor.

In the spring of 1995 , Wolfgang Grünbauer founded his own brass orchestra with music colleagues who were friends. With their first Maxi-CD Musikantengrüße they took the top positions in the charts. The brass orchestra has already presented itself to an audience of millions on television several times. It was to be seen in the programs No beautiful land (ARD), Heimatklänge (WDR), Hafenklänge (WDR), Bavaria, Burgen, Blasmusik (BR) and "With brass music through Bavaria" (BR). The orchestra is also constantly present in the leading wind music broadcasts on radio.

Other formations with which Wolfgang Grünbauer appears and publishes are the Munich Oktoberfest musicians , the Haberstroh musicians and the ensemble brass soloists .
