Wolfgang Mr.
Wolfgang Herr (born April 19, 1965 in Worms ) is a German internist , hematologist and university professor in Regensburg .
Career
1992 doctorate he in Mainz for Dr. med. He was the leading senior physician for stem cell transplantation in the III. Medical Clinic of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz . His main research interests are T-cell immunity against leukemia , tumors and viruses as well as cellular immunotherapy . He experimentally investigates the immunological development after transplantation of blood stem cells .
On April 1, 2013, he followed the call of the University of Regensburg . There he is director of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Internal Medicine III.
Private
Wolfgang Herr has been a member of the Corps Hassia-Gießen in Mainz since his studies in Mainz . Later he also became a member of the Corps Saxonia Konstanz and Corps Thuringia Jena .
