Wolfgang Hinrichs (born August 28, 1922 in Bremen ; † September 3, 2010 in Bremen) was a German businessman and politician ( CDU ) and as such a member of the Bremen citizenship and the German Bundestag .

Life

education and profession

After graduating from high school, Hinrichs served in the Wehrmacht from 1941 to 1945 during World War II . In 1947 he passed his assistant exam in the textile retail trade, and two years later he took his diploma in economics in Bonn. The first legal state examination in Hamburg followed in 1950. He finally became managing partner of the fashion house Hinrichs & Bollweg and Rolf Bischoff GmbH in Bremen and from 1963 to 1974 he was president of Einar -kauf GmbH for fashion houses in Frankfurt.

Hinrichs was married and had three children.

politics

Hinrichs was a member of the CDU and from 1979 to 1990 a board member of the CDU regional association in Bremen. From 1978 to 1991 was a member of the federal executive committee of the CDU Economic Council (now Economic Council Germany) and chairman of the Bremen regional association. Since October 1991 he has been honorary chairman of the Bremen State Association of the Economic Council.

From 1979 to March 25, 1983 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship as well as on the parliamentary committee and economic policy spokesman for the CDU. He was also a member of the parliament's deputation for economy and foreign trade.

From 1983 to 1990 he was a member of the German Bundestag (MP) and deputy chairman of the SME Discussion Group (DKM) of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group.
