Wolfgang Loeff
Wolfgang Loeff (born July 2, 1895 in Berlin , † October 17, 1954 in Rendsburg ) was a German writer and publicist .
Life
Wolfgang Loeff studied law at the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin. In 1924 he became editor of the Christian Berlin newspaper “ Der Reichsbote ”. In 1929 Loeff switched to the nationalist newspaper “ Stralsunder Tageblatt ” as editor-in-chief . He held this position until 1931 and then worked as a freelance writer. In May 1933, Wolfgang Loeff was elected to the board in the wake of the National Socialist conformity of the " Protection Association of German Writers ". He settled in Berlin-Wilmersdorf .
The stories and novels by Wolfgang Loeff have mainly militaristic content. During the Second World War, many of his publications appeared as field post editions for the German Wehrmacht .
After the war Loeff lived in Rendsburg in Schleswig-Holstein. In the Soviet occupation zone , the majority of Loeff's publications were placed on the list of literature to be discarded.
