Wolfson College (Cambridge)

The Wolfson College is one of the colleges of the University of Cambridge in Cambridge , England. It was founded in 1965 as the University College, but changed its name in 1972 when the Wolfson Foundation donated a substantial amount.

Wolfson was the first Cambridge college for women and men with an emphasis on research and science.

Historian Sir Richard J. Evans was president of the college until September 2017 , and chemist Jane Clark has been president since then.
