Wolha Wiktarauna Nasarawa ( Belarusian Вольга Віктараўна Назарава , Russian Ольга Викторовна Назарова ; born August 27, 1977 in Omsk , Soviet Union ) is a former Russian biathlete starting for Belarus .

Life

Nasarawa had been active in the World Cup since the 1998/99 season . Her best result reached Nasarawa with third place in the mass start in the 2001/02 season at Holmenkollen in Oslo . At the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, she surprisingly finished sixth in the individual over 15 km. The Belarusian was also in good shape at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin. She finished sixth in the mass start, seventh in the individual and in the pursuit, and eighth in the sprint. Wolha Nasarawa also took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics. There she only started in the sprint competition and came in 74th. Nasarawa is a lawyer by profession.
