The Wollanigberg is 1174  m above sea level. A. high mountain about two kilometers north of the Villach district of Oberwollanig in the Austrian state of Carinthia . The wooded ridge is one of the Nock Mountains .

The mountain has several secondary peaks. There are no roads leading up the mountain, but the relatively flat south and east flanks are made accessible by several forest roads. To the north, the mountain falls much more steeply to the Krastal , which connects the Drautal with the surrounding valley . Here and on the western flank of the Wollanigberg there are several stone quarries where the Krastal marble , which has been important since Roman times , is extracted. The southern foothills of the Wollanigberg near Oberwollanig are crossed by the western part of the Oswaldibergtunnel of the Tauern motorway .
