Gritschach is a district of Villach and is located in the north of the city. Up to 1974 Gritschach was part of the municipality Landskron , but since this was incorporated into Villach, Gritschach also went to Villach. Gritschach is about 560 m above sea level and has about 100 inhabitants.

Various paths lead from Gritschach to the Eichholzgraben and also to the Oswaldiberg, which is an important local recreation area for the Villach people. You also have a beautiful view of Villach from Gritschach.
Rennstein and Wollanig
The elongated village of Rennstein is located below Gritschach, directly on the Drau .
Wollanig is located west of Gritschach at the foot of the Wollanigberg. The village is divided into Ober- and Unterwollanig. The mountain rises steeply from the Drava, so that the houses are scattered on the slope.
