Xaver Wolf

Xaver Wolf (born March 31, 1937 in Regensburg ; † March 26, 2017 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

After training as a telecommunications technician in Augsburg , Wolf studied at the Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences and in 1960 he passed the engineering exam for electrical engineering, so that he was a qualified engineer.

Wolf was local councilor from 1966 to 1978 and from 1972 to 1978 second mayor in Hainsacker , from 1966 to 1984 district councilor of the Regensburg district and from 1975 to 1982 chairman of the SPD district association of Lower Bavaria / Upper Palatinate. From 1974 to 1990 he was a member of the Bavarian state parliament and from 1978 to 1986 deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. His field of work was energy and economic policy.
