Xosha Roquemore
Xosha Kai Roquemore (born December 11, 1984 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress .
Career
Xosha Roquemore moved to New York City after graduating from high school and studied at New York University .
Roquemore made her first major television appearance in 2008 in Shades of Brooklyn Vol. 1 . Then she played Joann in Precious - Life is precious . Through this role she also gained notoriety. After appearing in 10 Things I Hate About You , Criminal Intent , Rescue Me and Southland , she has appeared on the TV series The Mindy Project since 2013 . With the beginning of the second season, her character was expanded to a leading role.
