Xpress: Platform 13 in Walibi Holland ( Biddinghuizen , Province of Flevoland , Netherlands ) is a steel roller coaster model LSM Coaster from the manufacturer Vekoma , which was opened in April 2000 in what was then Six Flags Holland as "Superman The Ride". After the park was taken over by Star Parks , the track was renamed "Xpress" for the 2005 season. In 2011 the track was closed and painted black in October. In May 2012, Xpress was reopened as a black and white train. In 2013 the topic was changed and renamed “Xpress: Platform 13”.
history
Xpress is the manufacturer's only LSM Coaster with a length of 996 meters, although the route almost corresponds to the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster tracks in Walt Disney World - Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Resort Paris - Walt Disney Studios Park . The route has been modified a little to compensate for the higher speed the trains reach, as the trains are lighter and have no music hardware . Originally the track was supposed to be called Riddler's Revenge and painted green. But since it was found that the Europeans knew Batman but not all of his villains , it was decided shortly before its establishment that it would have a Superman theme. Traces of the old theming can still be seen today. Parts of the station are still green.
Trains
Xpress: Platform 13 has two trains with six cars each. Four people (two rows of two people) can be seated in each car. Shoulder straps are used as a restraint system.
