Yahaya Chaibou

Yahaya Chaibou (* 1960 in Malgorou ) is a Nigerien officials and politicians .

Life

Yahaya Chaibou attended the Lycée in Tahoua , which he graduated with a Baccalauréat in 1983. From 1987 to 1990 he studied general administration at the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA) in Niamey . He then entered the public service and initially worked in the sub-prefecture of the Dosso arrondissement until he moved to the Ministry of Public Service, Labor and Employment in 1991. There he held various managerial positions.

Chaibou worked from March to August 1996 as sub-prefect of the Gaya arrondissement . After further training at the Institut International d'Administration Publique (IIAP) in Paris , he returned to the ministry. He interrupted his work there in 1999 during the rule of the Council of National Reconciliation , when he acted as project manager for the interim leader Daouda Malam Wanké .

Yahaya Chaibou became Minister of Public Service and Employment in the government of March 1, 2010, established during the rule of the Supreme Council for the Restoration of Democracy under Salou Djibo . His term of office ended with the new government on April 21, 2011. He later worked as Deputy Secretary General of the government under President Mahamadou Issoufou .

Yahaya Chaibou is married and has seven children.
