Yahiro Kazama ( Japanese 風 間 八 宏 , Kazama Yahiro ; born October 16, 1961 in Shizuoka ) is a former Japanese football player and current football coach .
Career
In his youth, Kazama played for the school team of the "Shimizu Commercial High School" in Shizuoka, which has produced many famous footballers, and the university team of Tsukuba University . In 1984 the midfielder left Japan and moved to Germany for the amateur team of Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen . After failing to make the leap into the professional squad in Leverkusen, Kazama moved to the top division BVL 08 Remscheid in 1985 . With Remscheid he won the German amateur championship in 1986 , followed by promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1987 . After the descent of BVL in the 1987/88 season , Kazama joined Eintracht Braunschweig , for which he came to 15 missions in the second division season 1988/89 .
1989 returned Kazama back to Japan, where he became the Mazda SC , the factory team of Mazda -Konzerns, in the Japan Soccer League aground. With the founding of the professional league J. League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Mazda SC became Sanfrecce Hiroshima . Kazama was active in the J. League for three seasons for Sanfrecce and became the first Japanese player to score in the new league. In 1996 Kazama returned for one season to FC Remscheid and then ended his playing career.
Between 1980 and 1983 Kazama also played a total of 19 internationals for Japan .
Coaching career
After the end of his playing career, Kazama initially worked as a football official , football commentator and coach of the team at Tsukuba University. In 2012 he was introduced as the new coach of the J. League Division 1 club Kawasaki Frontale , his first coaching station in professional football. With his new club, he finished eighth in the table at the end of the season.
