Yang Fudong (2009)

Yang Fudong楊, 福 東 (* 1971 in Beijing ) is a Chinese photographer , installation and video artist .

life and work

Yang Fudong obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from the Hangzhou Chinese School of Arts in 1995 . His films have a reference to Chinese painting , film noir , as well as Jim Jarmusch , Jean-Luc Godard and the Shanghai films of the 1920s.
