Yang Yansheng

Yang Yansheng ( Chinese  楊 雁 盛  /  杨 雁 盛 , Pinyin Yáng Yànshèng; born January 5, 1988 ) is a Chinese pole vaulter .

In 2005 he won the World Youth Athletics Championships in Marrakech . In 2006 he won silver at the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships and silver at the Junior Athletics World Championships in Beijing and bronze at the Asian Games in Doha .

In 2010 he retired from the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Doha , finished fifth at the Athletics Continental Cup in Split and won the Asian Games in Guangzhou . He won bronze at the 2011 Asian Athletics Championships.

In 2012 he won the Asian Indoor Championships, but did not get past the first round at the Olympic Games in London . He also failed in the preliminary round at the 2013 World Athletics Championships in Moscow. He finished ninth at the 2014 Indoor World Championships in Sopot.
