Janko Georgiev (also written Yanko Georgiev , Bulgarian Янко Георгиев , born October 22, 1988 in Burgas ) is a Bulgarian football player .
Georgiev started his football career in his hometown of Burgas. In 2005 he signed his first professional contract with Chernomorets Pomorie , who at that time was the second team of FC Chernomorets Burgas and played in the Bulgarian Second League. In 2006 he moved to FC Chernomorets Burgas and two years later to FC Neftochimik Burgas . After only a year he signed again with Chernomorets Pomorie and played in the second Bulgarian league. At the beginning of the 2010/11 season he signed a three-year contract with the FC Chernomorets Burgas squad and is the third goalkeeper after Stojan Kolew and Nik Daschew . After Kolew left the club in the summer of 2013, he rose to number two. In the second half of the 2013/14 season he ousted it and stood between the posts until he was injured. After relegation in 2014, Georgiev was loaned to local rivals FC Burgas , who also played in B Grupa , for six months . Chernomorets Burgas rose again at the end of the 2014/15 season . He returned to Chernomorets Pomorie, which had just been promoted to B Grupa. He secured his place in goal and only missed promotion to play-off games with his team at the end of the 2015/16 season . In the summer of 2016, Neftochimik signed him again, where he was also a regular in the A Grupa . He had to relegate with the club at the end of the 2016/17 season and moved to promoted Septemwri Sofia .
