Yannik Helm (born March 17, 1992 in Fulda ) is a German composer and arranger .

Life

Helm grew up in Nüsttal in the Hessian Rhön , where he still lives today. After graduating from high school in Fulda, he studied school music and composition at the Würzburg University of Music . His teachers included Rolf Rudin , Robert HP Platz (composition), Christoph Weinhart ( arrangement ) and Christoph Wünsch ( music theory ).

In addition to his work as a composer and arranger, he works as a conductor , instrumental teacher, lecturer for wind orchestras and choirs and as a teacher.

Helm writes for all common occupations. A focus of his work is on creating music for symphonic wind orchestras but also music for choir, chamber music in various formations, symphony orchestras and big bands .

His compositions and arrangements were and will be. a. listed in Germany, Spain, Brazil, Australia, Great Britain, Panama, Poland and America. In 2016 he was Composer in Residence of the nationwide GEMA Foundation and the BDMV . In addition to published works by various music publishers, u. a. at Hayo-Musikverlag and Bohne und Schulz , Yannik Helm publishes edition casco in his own publishing house .
