Yeray Ortega Guarda (born July 14, 1979 in Las Palmas ) is a Spanish football player .

Career

Yeray started his career at Universidad Las Palmas CF in his hometown, to which he stayed until 2001. That year he moved to the third highest Spanish division to Celta de Vigo B , where he was under contract for one season. From 2004 to 2006 the left-footed player was under contract with Real Oviedo in the second-highest division. About UD Lanzarote from the domestic Canaries he came in 2009 to Austria for SV Ried , where he alongside Nacho was the second Spaniard in the squad. He then returned to UD Vecindario for two years before joining SCR Altach for the 2011/12 season. Yeray made his debut in the top Austrian division on February 20, 2009 against SV Mattersburg . He came on in the 87th minute for his compatriot Nacho. The game ended 2-2. The Spaniard scored his first goal on April 24, 2009 in a 3-0 win against FC Red Bull Salzburg .
