Yitzhak Livni

Yitzhak Livni (born October 17, 1934 in Łódź , † February 12, 2017 in Jerusalem ) was an Israeli journalist , radio director and author .

Life

Livni was born in Poland and immigrated to Tel Aviv as a child . From 1956 to 1971 he was editor of the magazine Bamahane Nahal , which was renamed Bamahane from 1961 . From 1968 to 1974 he was the radio director of the Galei Zahal radio station . Between 1974 and 1979 he was CEO of the Israel Broadcasting Authority .

He was initially married to the poet Dalia Rabikovich . He later married the politician Eti Livni , with whom he had three children.

Livni died in 2017 at the age of 82.
