Yoshi Heimrath

Yoshi Heimrath (born February 7, 1983 in Munich ) is a German cameraman .

Heimrath studied camera at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and made his first short films there. In 2010 he received the First Steps Award (special camera award) for his work on Burhan Qurbani's debut feature-length film Shahada . In 2017 he was nominated for the German Camera Prize in the feature film (camera) category for The Best of All Worlds .

In 2020 Heimrath received the German Film Prize for his work on Burhan Qurbanis Berlin Alexanderplatz .
