Yoshiyuki Asari ( Japanese 浅 利 嘉 之 , Asari Yoshiyuki ; born August 12, 1983 in Aomori Prefecture ) is a Japanese biathlete .

Asari Yoshiyuki attended school in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, and trained in Sapporo . The sports soldier of Tōki Sengi Kyōikutai (Tōsenkyō), for which he also competes, is trained by Sakae Murota. In 2002 the athlete started biathlon. He contested his first international races in 2006 as part of the Biathlon European Cup in Obertilliach . There he was 76th in his first sprint, a little later he achieved his best results in the second highest racing series with 67th places in sprint races. Later in the season , the Japanese also made his debut in the Biathlon World Cup . First he denied in Oberhof with Shin'ya Saitō , Hidenori Isa and Tatsumi Kasahara a first relay race, in which he led the relay as the final runner to 18th place. Two more missions followed in Ruhpolding : he finished 16th in the relay and 102nd in a sprint. The highlight of the season was the 2007 Winter Asian Games in Changchun . Yoshiyuki reached eighth place in the sprint, was eleventh of the individual and won the silver medal with Kasahara, Isa and Saitō in the relay race behind the Chinese representation.
