Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell is an American television series that was produced and broadcast in 2013 by Cartoon Networks late-night block Adult Swim . In Germany , the series was the first time in 2016 on the pay-TV - channels TNT series broadcast and a free TV premiere April 2017 took place on the transmitter DMAX . On July 14, 2020, co-creator Dave Willis confirmed that the series would end with a final episode.

The series focuses on Hell and portrays it as a company run by Satan. Gary, a 33-year-old man, ended up in hell after his death and does various jobs there. He and his co-workers fight for Satan's favor. However, Gary is often very clumsy and does poorly in comparison with the new intern Claude. Therefore, Gary is often bullied and punished by Satan. However, this does not prevent him from continuing to give his best. In addition to Gary, Satan and Claude there are other characters, but these often take on a supporting role. Most of the time, Satan's employees are busy with various assignments, the main one being to bring more souls to Hell. So they make their own liquor, get Satan a role in a rock band and smuggle Gary into heaven. However, these ventures are usually relatively unsuccessful.

Gary is an employee in Hell and died at the age of 33. Hell doesn't seem like a suitable place for him, he's actually a very nice and open-minded person. For example, he is not very successful in his mission as the devil on people's shoulders. He does not manage to drive a person to death. With his failures he does not make himself very popular in hell and especially with Satan. He still uses it, but mostly for very ungrateful tasks.

Claude works as an intern in hell. He goes to great lengths to gain Satan's favor and does every job reliably. He doesn't particularly like Gary and feels superior to him. Satan respects him and entrusts him with important tasks.

Satan leads hell, as it turns out later, but it is only one sector in a much larger area. He is respected by his employees because he exudes authority and has great power. He wants to increase his power by seducing as many people as possible and taking them to hell. For this he mostly uses his employees. Along with the other “hells”, its greatest competition is heaven. Not much is known about his previous life. But you know that he was a member of a metal band.

The German dubbing of the series was created entirely in 2016 at Neue Tonfilm in Munich , based on dialogue books by Kaze Uzumaki . Stefan Schulze and Patrick Roche directed the dialogue .
