Yucca filamentosa subsp. concava (English common name "Concava Leaf Yucca") is a subspecies of the filamentous palm lily ( Yucca filamentosa ) in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae).

description

Yucca filamentosa subsp. concava grows solitary or in small colonies and is stemless or forms bushy groups. The concave, blue-green leaves with the rough surface, which are 20 to 40 cm long and 1.5 to 6 cm wide, are typical .

The branched inflorescence that begins far above the leaves is 1 to 2.5 meters high. The pendulous, bell-shaped, white flowers are 3 to 5 cm in length and 3 to 5 cm in diameter. The flowering period is from April to May.
