Yupia ( Hindi युपिआ ) is a place in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh . It is the administrative seat of the Papum Pare district , although cities like Itanagar or Naharlagun are significantly larger and are located near Yupia.
location
The place is 4 kilometers northeast of Naharlagun and 11 kilometers northeast of Itanagar . The Naharlagun station is located just south of Yupia. The administrative district makes up a large part of the place: along a wide street are the district court , administrative building of the district, police station and the National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh . There is a humid subtropical climate .
population
According to an estimate from 2010, 809 people live in Yupia; In 2001 there were 721 people, of whom 394 were men and 327 women. The largest population troops are the Nyishi and Karbi .
