Yuri Wiktorowitsch Kljutschnikow ( Russian Юрий Викторович Ключников ; born September 17, 1983 in Moscow ) is a former Russian ice hockey goalkeeper who was active in the Continental Hockey League for HK Sibir Novosibirsk and Metallurg Novokuznetsk .

Career

Yuri Klyuchnikov began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Krylya Sovetov Moscow , for whose second team he was active in the third-rate Pervaya League from 1999 to 2004 . In the 2001/02 season , the goalkeeper made his debut in professional ice hockey for the THK Tver from the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division. In the 2003/04 season he was also in two games for Krylja Sowetow in the Wysschaja Liga between the posts. After starting the following season with Krylya Sovetov, he changed clubs several times until 2008 and played for the second division clubs HK Belgorod , Sauralje Kurgan , Juschny Ural Orsk , Disel Pensa and most recently in the 2007/08 season again for Krylja Sowetow Moscow.

From the 2008/09 season Klyuchnikov played for HK Sibir Novosibirsk from the Continental Hockey League . In June 2012 he moved to Metallurg Novokuznetsk within the KHL and was subsequently used in the KHL as well as at Ariada-Akpars Wolschsk in the second division. The following season he was signed by Lokomotive Yaroslavl .

International

For Russia Klyuchnikov took part in the U18 Junior World Championship in 2001 , where he won the gold medal with his team.
