Yuri Jakowlewitsch Kopylow ( Russian Юрий Яковлевич Копылов ; born February 3, 1930 in Moscow , † 1998 ) was a Russian - Soviet ice hockey player .

Career

During his career, Yuri Kopylov played for HK Spartak Moscow and CSKA Moscow . In total, he scored 131 goals in 320 games in the Soviet league . In the 1961/62 season he let his career end with SKWO Kuibyshev .

International

On January 9, 1955, Yuri Kopylov was in a game against Sweden for the first time for the Soviet national team on the ice. His international career was crowned with a silver medal at the 1958 World Cup . For the national team, he scored a total of 13 goals in 23 international matches.
