Jury Bjalou

Jury Bjalou ( Belarusian Юры Бялоў , English transcription Yury Bialou ; born March 20, 1981 ) is a Belarusian shot putter .

At the European Athletics Championships in Munich in 2002 and the World Athletics Championships in 2003 in Paris / Saint-Denis, he was eliminated in qualification, but then reached the final at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and came in sixth.

An out in the preliminary round at the 2005 World Cup in Helsinki was followed by an eighth place at the 2007 World Cup in Osaka and a tenth place at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. At the 2009 World Cup in Berlin, he did not get beyond qualification.

He achieved his best performance of 21.14 m on May 21, 2003 in Minsk .
