Yves Béhar

Yves Béhar (* 1967 in Lausanne ) is a Swiss entrepreneur and industrial designer . He lives in the United States and founded Fuseproject , a San Francisco- based design and branding company, in 1999. He is considered one of the leading industrial designers.

Life

Béhar's mother is from East Germany and his father was a Turkish Jew . He first studied industrial design at the Art Center College of Design in La Tour-de-Peilz , Switzerland, and after a year moved to the parent company in Pasadena, California , where he completed his studies with a BSc of Industrial Design . He then worked for the companies Frogdesign and Lunar Design , which developed products for companies such as Apple , Hewlett-Packard and Silicon Graphics . In 2013 he also designed the new uniform appearance of all Nivea products and in 2016 the new appearance of Rivella .

He is the chairman of the Industrial Design Department at California College of the Arts.
