Yves Van Massenhove
Yves Van Massenhove (born February 26, 1909 in Sint-Joost-ten-Node , † May 15, 1990 in Châtenay-Malabry ) was a Belgian cyclist and national champion in cycling .
Athletic career
He was a participant in the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam . There he started in the sprint and in the team pursuit . In 1928 he won the Belgian championship in the amateur sprint ahead of Georges Meuleman . In 1929 he was able to defend the title, René Degroote came second . Also in 1930 he became national champion. That year he finished second in the Copenhagen Grand Prix behind Louis Gérardin .
